Test Automation Engineer

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop automated tests using Open Source tools;
• Participate in performance testing;
• Improve and optimize test automation processes;
• Initiate new test automation projects;
• Perform manual testing when necessary;
• Maintain and document test cases;
• Analyze test case metrics and work on their improvement;
• Generate and develop new ideas to enhance applications/systems;
• Prepare test cases for software testers;
• Provide developers with information regarding testing strategies, processes, and defect resolution;
• Provide feedback on defects to relevant stakeholders;
• Deepen knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and apply best practices.

Qualifications Required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Software Tester and at least 1 year of experience as an Automation Engineer.
• Languages: Fluent knowledge of the Georgian language, Good knowledge of the English language , knowledge of the Russian language (B1-Intermediate) will be considered an advantage;
• Technical Knowledge and Skills: User-level knowledge of mobile applications; Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals; Experience with C#, Java, or another programming language; Experience working with web services (SOAP) and XML; Experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server); Advanced knowledge of Postman and DevTools; Experience in API service testing; Experience working in an Agile team; Experience working on IT projects.
