Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Legal expertise and preparation of different types of agreements, legal opinions;
• Legal support of creating and implementing new products;
• Representing and protecting the Bank's interest before any public/private entity or individual;
• Providing legal advice to the Bank's departments;
• Ensuring banks policies, procedures, agreements legal compliance with NBG regulations and Georgian legislation;
• Drafting/updating of the Bank's documentation/agreements following legislation updates.
   

Qualifications Required:

Education: Master’s degree in Laws;
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years work experience as a lawyer particularly in Private Law (Bank or a Financial institution);
Languages: Fluent in Georgian; C1 – Advanced-level knowledge of English, Intermediate-level knowledge of Russian;
Technical knowledge and skills: Knowledge of Civil Code of Georgia, Law of Georgia on Activities of Commercial Banks; other banking regulations; Good legal writing skills; Contract drafting; Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
