PASHA Bank sponsored XVI CIS, Baltic States and Caucasus Bond Congress

On June 13-14, PASHA Bank sponsored the XVI CIS, Baltic States and Caucasus Bond Congress in Batumi.

CIS, Baltic States and Caucasus Bond Congress is being held since 2004 and is an annual event, which brings together debt market professionals from CIS, and other emerging markets.

PASHA Bank have supported the Bond Congress as an official partner, for the second time. PASHA Bank is a Baku-based financial institution operating in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, providing corporate and investment banking services to large, medium and small enterprises.

Each year, CIS, Baltic States and Caucasus Bond Congress takes place in a different city, allowing its participants to learn more about the economy and cultural peculiarities of the country hosting the event. This year, Batumi hosted the Congress and over 200 participants joined the event.

Within the scope of the Congress, more than 45 speakers from different countries participated in the event.

The main topics that were discussed on the conference were: economic development, financial system and bond market of Georgia; Macroeconomic trends of CIS and Caucasus; Eurobond market of CIS and Caucasus; Special sessions on fixed income markets in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan.
