Credit Underwriter (Corporate)

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure corporate portfolio quality by assessing the creditworthiness of existing and potential borrowers, supporting decision-making bodies in decision making, following up credit decisions, performing regular monitoring of the portfolio, performing transaction level stress tests on the borrowers
  • Support internal functions in the execution of their duties: loan administration, portfolio management, credit risk unit, internal audit, reporting
  • Participate in major department projects and take an active role in cross-functional teams
  • Participate/support in the creation, update, and improvement of the department's policy, procedures, methodologies, developing/validating models and other development initiatives
     

Qualifications Required:

Education:  Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in credit analytics and/or credit risk management. Work experience in corporate finances and analysis will be preferred
Languages: Perfect knowledge of Georgian language; Knowledge of English and Russian languages at least B2-Upper-Intermediate level
Technical Knowledge and Skills: Priority will be if the candidate has passed exams FRM/CFA/ACCA; Solid knowledge of finance and Microsoft Office
